REDWINE

 

 

Singer, lyricist and composer of contemporary rap/dance music -as well as and cinematographer/director- this intense artist brings special sensibilities to his work.

 

Born June 5th, 1979 in Guanabacca, Cuba, he immersed himself in Hip Hop and R&B genres during his youth and then began writing his first songs.

 

He started as the frontman rapper for the Group Boysy as Qbanito. 

Throughout his career he worked with other groups such as Convoy Cubano, a group that went through several metamorphosis.

 

REDWINE is currently living in Miami, working on new music, and making use of his numerous talents such as filming a variety of videos for artists Sharo Torres, Angel Arce, Juan Velez and Jon Secada.

 

His songs have appeared in feature films such as Contraband (2012), Remember Me (2010), Gran Torino (2008), Snatched (2017), among others, and most recently in the television series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan (Amazon Prime), Hightown (Starz), Pose (FX) and Get Shorty (Epix).
